Processing invoices in PDF format issued from the supplier's accounting systems is an efficient and low-cost alternative to Scan/OCR solutions while still offering the benefits of tax compliant dematerialization.

Solution

  • “virtual printers” are installed on suppliers’ computers enabling them to edit invoices in PDF format through their invoicing tools
  • The PDF is thereon transmitted to b-process' tool "Uploader" which prepares the file for the platform and allows for any corrections to be made online
  • This PDF is then e-mailed to the billManager™ platform which affixes an electronic signature to the received file , thereby making it legally valid and equivalent to the original invoice according to art. 289 of the French General Tax Code
  • The necessity data is extracted from the file in order to automatically integrate the buyers' accounting systems
  • The invoice is stored in an electronic safe ® for a 10 year period
