The project
Nestlé France, world leader in food services, was looking for a partner to optimize its invoice dematerialization system to improve its responsiveness to solicitations from key accounts while at the same time eliminating their reliance on paper.
After having consulted the main players on the market, the choice of b-process was motivated mainly thanks to its recognized know-how in the big-box retailing sector, its ability to process large volumes of invoices, and for the ease in setting up its solution using ASP.
The solution
In terms of tax compliant e-invoicing, the retailing sector is one of the most advanced and the can players now boast of a unique return on their experience regarding the advantages of these solutions. Already using EDI as a supplier, Nestlé thus decided to consolidate its tools to favor tax compliant e-invoicing among its customers.
The project needed upstream technical validation tests and, to be approved overall, presentation of b-process’ billManager™ platform to potential users—purchasing, accounting, I.T., supply chain and e-business.
Today, several units have moved into production flows. Among its customers is Carrefour, well known for its involvement in fiscal dematerialization and the first to implement Nestlé’s dematerialized invoices successfully.
