The project
McCain was particularly concerned about satisfying its customers better and offering them better and better services, so it opted for tax compliant dematerialization of its invoices. b-process’ outsourced invoice dematerialization platform billManager™ convinced the Canadian manufacturer.
The solution
The solution chosen carried out the dematerialization process technically and fiscally and transmitted the invoicing documents to be entered into accounts receivable by meeting sales and tax compliant requirements.
So this means that the gains are multiple—notably in costs and processing lead times, as well as improvements in data quality.
What’s more, the choice of dematerialization is part of McCain’s continual commitment, which already includes environmental concerns in the daily manufacturing of its products, and which the company wants to extend to administrative formalities. b-process’ dematerialization solutions provided McCain with the opportunity to avoid printing thousands of pages of invoices and this contributed to providing a solution which contributed to waylaying these concers.
The collaboration between b-process and McCain, begun in October 2006, this year takes a European turn with the deployment of the b-process solution to McCain customers based in Belgium and Spain.
