The project
After e-tickets and EDM (electronic document management), the travel agency offers all of its partners the possibility to dematerialize invoicing with b-process.
This possibility to generalize invoice dematerialization among 90% of its B2B customers convinced the tour operator Marmara, a travel specialist, to deploy a PDF e-invoicing solution.
Easy implementation, fast sending processes, lower processing, production and archiving costs (around 70%) were also the main assets which attracted Marmara. Besides its customers already using invoice dematerialization, the b-process solution enabled all types of travel agencies working with Marmara to access this dematerialization without demanding of them any additional investments.
The solution
The solution chosen sends e-invoices instead of paper ones. The customer invoicing data are transmitted to b-process’ billManager™ platform in the usual format. Invoices are processed and a duplicate in PDF format is sent by e-mail to customers. Free access to the platform is provided to the customers enabling them to visualize all of their archived invoices for a period of 10 years.
With this innovation, b-process provided Marmara with a tax compliant dematerialization solution which is particularly well adapted to all types of its travel agency customers’ invoicing. In compliance with current regulations, it also allows for immediate deployment to most of Marmara’s customer base, thereby chalking up a major return on investment.
