The project

To fulfill the traditional goals of any invoice dematerialization project, Bureau Veritas’ method included a total overhaul of its Purchase to Pay processes. The solution found had to take into account the diversity of invoicing cases and practices in countries where Bureau Veritas did business, as well as the differences in suppliers’ levels of maturity. “We want to offer an outsourced service for invoice dematerialization to our customers enabling us to provide them with real added value. b-process rose to the challenge of meeting our needs in terms of operations and quality, offering an all-in-one solution, both simple to implement and to use”, explained Marc Boissonnet, Bureau Veritas Sales and Marketing Director.

The solution

For all of these reasons, the company chose b-process to manage the sending out of invoices as an outsourcer, enabling it both to set itself apart from the competition and improve its invoicing process. Bureau Veritas’ choice was motivated by the flexibility of the b-process solution, the ease of its use and its evolved billManager™ platform functions, such as the activation of data specific to Bureau Veritas’ professions and invoice processing in different formats (EDI, PDF and paper).

Available in ASP mode and perfectly compatible with extant technology and systems, billManager™ is unobtrusive for customer information systems and does not need any additional hardware or licence acquisitions. Little by little the platform has become a must-have collaborative tool and edits around 600,000 invoices yearly.
